"Excess Baggage" engaged my emotions as well as my intellect as a literary sampler.
I loved the way Mr. Gardner chose to tell the story from each character's perspective, unveiling feelings and situations using their own words.I came to know each one intimately.
As each chapter ended, I couldn't wait to read the next chapter and perspective-not knowing who would be waiting for me on the next page!
Sometime I wished to continue one character's journey instead of switching to another-this just built anticipation for reading on!
I recommend "Excess Baggage" to anyone who appreciates a fresh writer who combines painful life and love experiences with literary imagery to create a great read with a redemptive ending!
Thanks for sharing your talent!

I am Nona, just hadn't had the fender bender to meet Christian (My Boaz), but I am patient. I could relate to Christian and Dorian with their past trials. Sean weaved an intricate web of how our past will determine our future, if we allow it. The book was romantic, thought provoking and a definite page turner.

I really enjoyed reading Excess Baggage. It was hard to predict what was coming next. Each character had their own baggage, but were able to live their lives successfully inspite of it all. This novel was filled with knowledge and wisdom and was very entertaining. My favorite character was Ricky, the wisest character in novel. He seemed to be the least successful, most common, and funniest character throughout the novel, but in the end was elevated and redeemed. I really love the role of the character Nana. She is like the "big mama" in our lives. I just really love this novel. Thank you Sean Gardner for this excellent novel.

I really enjoyed reading your book! I wasn't sure what to expect, but your book was a great read! I loved every storyline; the character Christian was my favorite. I loved his story-his past and present, his close brotherhood with Dorian, and how his character evolved. I can't wait to read "High Speed Connection"!
